Participate in a clinical study
We are currently looking for volunteers to participate in several eye research studies. A brief overview of current opportunities is provided below.
All studies are conducted in the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences at the University of Melbourne.

Participants with healthy eyes needed for a clinical study
We are seeking people aged 18 to 45 years of age, who have healthy eyes, do not wear contact lenses and do not require glasses for vision correction.
Eligible participants will need to attend eight study visits, duration of 0.5 to 3 hours each, at the University of Melbourne.
Volunteers will receive a $60 Coles Group digital gift voucher per study visit attended.

Do you suffer from dry eyes? People with dry eyes needed for study.
We are seeking people aged 18 years or older for a study that is evaluating a new test for evaluating tear health in people dry eyes.
Eligible participants will undergo eye test procedures at three study visits on three separate days, over about six weeks. Participants will receive one of two eye drop products, which will comprise either an anti-inflammatory ingredient or a placebo, to be used four times daily for about two weeks. Some participants will also receive a single treatment of a heat-based eyelid therapy. Each visit will take up to two hours at the University of Melbourne.
Participants will receive a $50 Coles group digital gift voucher for each visit attended (maximum total reimbursement: $150).
