Isabelle is a therapeutically endorsed, AHPRA registered optometrist. She completed the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Melbourne in 2022.

After working as a primary care optometrist in Perth, Isabelle joined the Corneal, Ocular Surface and Immunology team at the Lions Eye Institute under Associate Professor Holly Chinnery. In this role, she worked closely alongside PhD students and contributed to the coordination, management, and data analysis of multiple research studies investigating immune cells on the anterior surface of the eye.

Isabelle values the full scope of practice in optometry. She works at the eye clinic at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital as well as in private ophthalmology practice. She is passionate about translating exploratory research into meaningful improvements in future clinical practice.
