Isha completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science in Anatomy and Pathology at The University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2024. In 2025, she was awarded First-Class Honours for her Bachelor of Science at UWA.

Her Honours research was conducted under the supervision of Associate Professor Holly Chinnery (Lions Eye Institute), with co-supervision from Dr Danial Roshandel (Lions Eye Institute), Dr Zahra Tajbakhsh (UWA, Optometry), and Dr Stuart Hodgetts (UWA, Anatomy). During her Honours year, Isha investigated the morphodynamics of T cells and dendritic cells in the living human cornea using functional in vivo confocal microscopy (Fun-IVCM), contributing to a deeper understanding of corneal immune cell morphology and behavior.

Isha is currently a PhD candidate at UWA under the supervision of Associate Professor Holly Chinnery, with co-supervision from Dr Danial Roshandel and Dr Zahra Tajbakhsh. Her doctoral research focuses on investigating stromal macrophages in the human cornea using complementary in vivo and ex vivo approaches, aiming to advance knowledge of corneal immune biology
